The Canterbury Kings are proud supporters of Camp Quality. The team at Camp Quality are committed to making a positive difference to the lives of children living with cancer. Every summer the kids and their companions from Camp Quality head over to Living Springs for a week long camp full of fun activities, support and empowering challenges!
This year the Canterbury Kings went out for an afternoon of fun at the Camp. The theme for the Camp this year was “Let the Games Begin” and that’s exactly what happened when the Kings arrived. The Kings were able to hang out with the kids and play around, everyone had an absolute ball, playing cricket, pool, table tennis, swimming and getting their faces’ painted.
As the afternoon wore on the kids and Kings got dressed up for their Party Night. Some of Kings Players were given head to toe makeovers by the kids with new outfits and makeup! Our own Peter Fulton even had some blonde curly hair painted on his head!
The night began with a yummy dinner and some Kings giveaways before heading into the hall for a boogie at the disco. The King Mascot and Logan van Beek busted out some crazy dance moves in a show for the kids to kick of the start of the party!
The Canterbury Kings had a blast and are proud to support such a great cause. The amount of smiles, laughter and fun that was being had made the afternoon a very rewarding experience. Thanks for having the Canterbury Kings!
